Hyderabad: In an effort to help class 10 students in their preparation for the SSC public exams, the Telangana Recognized School Managements Association (TRSMA) has decided to provide an e-learning application to low-budget private schools in the state.

The e-learning app, Ekalavya, comes with video lessons covering the state syllabus, exam modules, questions and answers, and other features. Students can also attend live classes through the app besides dispelling their doubts on any subject.

TRSMA, in association with a private company, will make this application available to students in class 10 free of charge for two months. Apart from students in class 10, the application will be provided to classes 1 to 9 but at a nominal price. Currently, about 10,000 low-budget private schools operate across the state.

“This new app will help students prepare for SSC public exams. It will be free for students in class 10 for about two months. We will launch the app on Monday,” said Y Shekhar Rao, President of TRSMA.

As previously announced by the Government Examinations Branch, the SSC Public Examinations will run from May 17-26. This time, students in Class 10 will be required to write six papers instead of 11, as the state government reduced the number of papers for the 2020-21 academic year.
