Market launch of the AI-powered Q&A learning app TestMe

TestMe, a new artificial intelligence learning solution, was launched in the market today.

The application is aimed at school and college students for exam preparation, as well as corporate training managers. It generates open quiz-like tests for users from all the resources uploaded to the platform.

The tool was developed by Soffos, which is building the next generation of educational technology (EdTech) solutions powered by cutting-edge AI. A beta phase of TestMe will run until the end of January 2022, with ongoing sprints to add additional features and fix bugs.

To create flashcards and quizzes, TestMe’s sophisticated AI-driven algorithms “read” the content of all uploaded materials, before generating probing questions from the content. Unlike solutions that typically rely on multiple choice or other inflexible assessment methods, the app will allow users to speak or type complete answers in natural language.

By allowing users to log in through their personal devices and submit free-form responses in the most convenient format, the app provides an intuitive learning experience. The gamification elements will also keep users engaged throughout their study journey: learners can choose to share their progress with others, compete for positions on community leaderboards, and explore hot topics.

Students across the United States are invited to test TestMe starting today. The product will be available internationally in 2022 for students, parents and teachers, and will eventually be available for businesses as an employee training tool.

Nikolas Kairinos, CEO and Founder of Soffos, said, “TestMe is a solution for anyone who is passionate about quality education. Whether it’s teachers looking for unique ways to make subjects engaging, or university students preparing for upcoming exams, our innovative solution will energize the learning experience. Powered by state-of-the-art AI, our solution takes EdTech even further. Rather than generic, unimaginative quizzes, TestMe accepts natural language answers and then “scores” them by relevance to demonstrate not only the correct answers, but also why they are correct.

“Psychologists have proven time and time again that the best way to learn is through positive reinforcement and open discussion, which is why our solution was designed to help students better understand new concepts and embed knowledge into their long-term memory,” continued Nikolas Kairinos. “The Soffos team is looking forward to seeing how learners interact with the app during the beta phase; we are convinced that it will bring an essential novelty to studies and training in companies.
