Discovery Ed makes learning activities free for the rest of the school year

Discovery Education announced this week that it is making hundreds of free daily activities for educators for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year.

Activities are designed for grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8 and are posted on a monthly basis. According to Discovery Ed: “These engaging daily activities include daily fixes, background generators, writing prompts, and more to meet specific learning needs. teachers across the country in a shared learning experience.

“The opening of the 2021-2022 school year had to be different. This year, parents, teachers and students were all eager to return to classrooms that looked more like those of the pre-COVID-19 era, ”Scott Kinney, CEO of Discovery Education, said in a statement. prepare. “However, the rise of the Delta variant and various other factors have created a high level of uncertainty among education stakeholders. Across the country, there remain many questions about how educators will navigate these complicated times, and by making these student activities available we hope to alleviate some of the burden educators have so heroically carried since March 2020. ”
